Just a single quick note for this...Sandra Day O'Connor is a fucking woman, plain and simple. How a Supreme Court Justice, the most honorable position that can be bestowed upon a person in this country (in my opinion), the highest qualifier of character, could ever have been bestowed upon this woman is beyond me. She acts on feelings, on what feels right versus an objective interpretation of the law.
The Supreme Court's ruling on Monday on the University of Michigan / Affirmative Action was a sham, and will go down as the day I lost complete confidence in my government (all right, it was already pretty damn shaky), the day that the Constitution and all things sacred to this country, i.e., equal rights under the law, were shot into the wind.
